Anger - A Short Story

Vanessa hid behind the rock she saw Mark running away
from his house, his father following him, she was used to see
this scene every day… Poor M ark his father always drunk hit
him every day...she went to the beach looking for him
Hi...Are you okay????
Mark turned to her, he had blood on his face, he looked
angry and she could see the black eye that began to swell
...Vanessa smoothly put her hand in his face and he hugged
her strongly while he sobbed furious.
Vanessa cleaned the blood of his face and holding his hand stood up
Let‟s walk
Vanessa I can't bare this much longer...I need to do something or he will kill us...
Where is your mother???
She was not home when he got there, he started hitting me and I fought back, I ran away
because I had so much anger in me that I could have killed him.
Let's talk to my father, he may b e able to help you
No Vanessa it will make things worse
No. come with me my father is working in the store
They walked together trough the beach holding hands, this was not the first time this
happened, last time Mark was really hurt and she had to take him to the hospital, but he
escaped from the hospital when the nurse called the police to report the incident
Her father was working in the store, she entered waving her hand, when he saw the bad
condition of the boy waved his hand indicating her to go to his office and wait for him
there
