Members already have the units up and running and the feedback has been positive. “We have been using the AVB TV every day now,” said Mickey Reali of Orville’s Appliance. “I have to admit this is a great addition for the store! The video app downloaded perfect informational videos for our appli- ances. They are all in HD and look great. Quite a few of them show nice breakdowns of how the appliances work too . . .I think we should have one in each of our stores.”
The AVB TV will be managed and supported through BrandSource Digital Marketing. Kristina Smallwood who has taken lead on this new program says, “I’ve been exposed to other platforms and this is by far the best I’ve seen. If you can use Netflix you can operate this. Showing digital brand
Jeremy from East Huron TV & Appliance, Inc states that they have just gotten the system up and running and have not had time to fully customize it at this point. He is impressed with the amount of information that is provided. “I’ve learned a lot by just watching the content and have become better informed”. The TV is currently behind the sales desk with the volume down relatively low and can be seen from most of the store. Jeremy says “this gives us a little more respect and separates us from the boxes - in that we have more information and superior product sales and knowledge.”They look forward to adding more
content and may possibly stream content to the TV’s on the sales floor.

Brandon plans on using the new technology in his new mattress gallery and his England Furniture showcase. His intent is to loop various promotions and product features and benefits. Brandon states that “being a small store with a small sales staff of just two, it is another way to inform customers of product features and benefits while I may be helping another customer.” In addition, Brandon added, “customers may be made aware of a warranty that goes above and beyond industry standards that could be instrumental in closing a sale.” Once he masters the technology, Brandon thinks it well be a great asset to the sales floor. He is looking to add more as content soon as it becomes
available from some of his other manufacturers.

Bemis has had the AVB-TV system up and running for about a month. Scott Bernard of Bemis Appliance has been very pleased with the new technology. It has been very beneficial in showing customers how things operate that would be very difficult to demonstrate on the retail floor. In fact, Scott and his fellow employees have picked up some product features and benefits that they may have forgotten or not known had it not been for the videos. They pause them as needed
to take note of specifics. They are looping all the major appliances in both laundry and cooking. They currently have one set displayed in the middle of the sales floor. Somewhere down the line they hope to add some in-house content to the mix. “So far, it has been a real benefit to have the device in the store.” - Scott Bernard, Bemis
