Campus Heights Amenity Clubhouse
Owner/User: College Town Communities
Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Design Statement: Located adjacent to Penn State‘s
Harrisburg campus, Campus Heights Clubhouse serves as
an amenity for the two student housing communities in
Middletown Borough. Bernardon provided architectural
and interior design services that responded to the
preference of the student body and complemented the
current landscape. The design of the clubhouse aimed to
create a contemporary mountain lodge aesthetic featuring
lounge spaces, recreational areas, and fitness facilities. The
10,455 SF building also includes a pool, courtyard, and
leasing offices to serve both communities.
The design incorporates exposed ornamental wooden trusses
framing the pitched roof to dynamic double height spaces
connecting the two stories of the clubhouse.
