INTONATION: Fall - Rise

We use fall-rise intonation with questions, especially when we request information or
invite somebody to do or to have something. The intonation pattern makes the
                    questions sound more polite.

Practice the sentences below with fall-rise intonation.

                     1. Would you like another coffee?

                     2. Would you like to go out tonight?

                     3. Could you hold my backpack for a while?
