Anvil Covers
REPLACEMENT AND ROTATION
ANVIL COVER REPLACEMENT
SAFETY FIRST!
Tools Suggested: Pry Bar and 52 or 64 oz Dead Blow Mallet
NOTE: New Anvil Covers can be mounted in either direction
with the FATTER END SECURED FIRST
2. INTERLOCK REMAINING END
1. Remove Die Board and store in a safe place 1. FATTER END
PLACE IN SLOT FIRST!
2. Remove and inspect old cover for any issues
TAP WITH MALLET
3. Wrap new cover around the cylinder TO SECURE IN SLOT
4. Put the FATTER INTERLOCKING END INTO THE SLOT and TAP with mallet to secure
5. Position the other end of the cover so that it interlocks with the secured end.
TAP into place
Best practice - REPLACE ALL ANVILS at the same time! 3. TAP INTO PLACE WITH MALLET

(Please NOTE: The following Anvil Rotation procedure is NOT for Equalizer Systems)

PRYBAR IN SLOT ONLY!
Tools suggested: Pry Bar and 52 - 64 oz. Dead Blow Mallet PREVENT DAMAGE TO YOUR ANVIL COVERS!
NOTE: Anvil Covers can be mounted in either direction
REMOVE 1-4 with the FATTER END SECURED FIRST
1. Remove Die Board and store in a safe place
LOOSEN AND SHIFT 5 - 8 2. Remove Covers 1 - 4 by using the proper PRY BAR IN THE SLOT ONLY to pry them apart. Inspect for any issues.
TAP INTO PLACE
3. Loosen Covers 5 - 8. Shift and drape in new position. Secure Covers by TAPPING into place with the Dead Blow Mallet
4. Reattach Covers 1-4 into new position as shown
