Asha Excuse me, what is the meaning of the word
environment?
Mwanaidi Were you not taught it at school?
Asha We were taught it, but I did not understand
the lesson.
Mwanaidi Well, the environment is the natural world in
which people, animals and plants live. Also,
the environment consists of air, water bodies and
land.
Asha Are birds and animals part of the environment?
Mwanaidi Yes, they are. They are part of the environment.
