Answer the following questions.

1. Name the pictures in Figure 1.

2. Draw three pieces of furniture which are found in your
classroom.

Read the following story and then answer the questions in

Exercise 2.
One day, I was taking a walk with my father. On the way, we
saw different pictures in many places. I asked my father how

those pictures were obtained. My father told me that some
pictures were taken by camera. Others were drawn by painters.
I was surprised. I asked again, ‘‘How can someone draw such
beautiful pictures?’’

My father said, “Let me take you to a painter.” When we arrived,

we saw different pictures he had painted. The pictures showed
animals, birds, houses and some important people.
