This is the first book in a series of two books

for Arithmetic in primary schools. The book has

eighteen chapters which guide a pupil through

learning counting, reading and writing numbers.
Other chapters are on figures and ways to collect

objects and list them. The pupil is advised to follow

the examples given and attempt all exercises. Pupils

are encouraged to help one another and seek help
from teachers and parents.
