In an era when neighborhood children go off to 140 different schools all over the city each day, when parents juggle multiple jobs and hectic schedules, when culturally everyone is so different, Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester is the heart of the community. The club is the hub where everyone comes together. It is the place where children, youth, and families always come irst, always get a helping hand, and always get the support they need to lead happy, healthy lives. So many lives and so many stories have been shaped at the club over the last 45 years. Here’s a look at just a few.
