Final Reflection

Looking back on this class “WRITING II”, I have realized that I improved my writing

skill in two different ways learning grammar and formulating topic sentences and general
statements.

First learning grammar is very important to know some grammar such as prepositions

rules, adjective rules, and punctuation rules had helped, me to write in a better way and not

commit punctuation mistakes. Also, parallelism had helped me to write in a coherence way
avoiding misunderstandings and use the correct form of the verbs and grammar in order to

express an idea. Those grammar points are very useful to write paragraphs and to make the

readers understand the main idea and the context of the reading.

Finally, write in a better way topic sentences and general statements had helped me to
make better paragraphs and essays and also be more specific. At the beginning, I had some

trouble to write in English because the writings are totally different from Spanish. In Spanish
we use a lot of words and synonyms to write something on the other hand in English we need

to be precise and clear. I am still learning to write in a proper way in order to improve my

writing skill.

In conclusion, writing is a complicated skill, you need to pay attention many times to your
drafts and check them before handing them out. This is a very useful subject for the rest of

our career because you could write good essays and articles with academic or recreational
purposes.
