6. Write supporting ideas for general statements
a. Activist for human rights and women’s education in the Middle East: Malala
is a peaceful girl. She has been against violence since she was a child, for that reason
she encouraged to raise her voice against the Taliban regimen, which oppress
population and torture them every day. She also wants a better educational system,
where girls could have the same opportunities as boys.
b. Won a prize: In 2014, Malala won the Nobel Peace Prize. She is the youngest
winner and she became one of the most influent activists in the world. Her job is
not only promote peace in the Middle East, she also encourage politicians, famous
people and population to be better citizens and educate their selves.
c. Almost killed by a Taliban: In 2012 a Taliban kidnapped the scholar bus, where
she was, then she received shoots in her head and her neck. She was in comma for
months. After that she said she forgave the man who shot at her.
d. Blogger for BBC network: she started to write a blog describing her life and
women situation in Swat, her natal city. At that moment, women were not allowed
to go to school, watching TV, write blogs even they could not go to supermarket.
Malala is so brave, she is not afraid of the political system of her country.
Closing sentence: Many people, including politicians, admire her, because she is
brave, she risked her own life to show us the issues in Middle East, and she is still
working against violence and promoting the human rights through organizations.
Finally, I would like be like her some day and help people who do not have
opportunities to study.
