Meet Tim and Barbara Reynolds from Hartland, Wisconsin, who are experienced Caribbean travelers with a passion
for Aruba. e Reynolds have been owners at Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort for six years, and share their love of Aruba with
their entire family.
After vacationing on many Caribbean islands, the Reynolds family is certain that Aruba and Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort are their favorite island destination. When asked why they love Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort so much, Barbara explains that they are always taken aback by how peaceful the resort is compared to other hotels they have stayed at on Aruba, and that “there is not an employee down here that we don’t absolutely love.” e Reynolds consider the employees at Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort to be members of their extended family, and look forward to spending time with them each year.
Before converting to the Divi Vacation Club in February 2016, the Reynolds family owned nineteen contracts with Divi
Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort! Tim comments, “We used to rent a house in the Caribbean each year as a family, but after we discovered how much we enjoyed Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, we bought each of our kids a two bedroom lock-o ,” and the Reynolds established their Aruban family tradition. On their most recent trip, the Reynolds vacationed with three of their four children and eight of their grandchildren, all under the age of four.
While their grandchildren are most interested in playing in the sand and building sandcastles, Tim
and Barbara enjoy walking
to Eagle Beach, where they spend time together amongst the serenity of pristine, soft white sand and the sparkling
Caribbean ocean. When asked
what beach is their favorite, though, both agree that Palm Beach is
the most exciting, with its vibrant location amidst the high-rise hotels, restaurants, and shopping districts.
It has become a tradition for the Reynolds to not rent a car while vacationing on Aruba. Although they enjoy walking everywhere, their family vacations to Aruba wouldn’t be complete without taking their annual ATV o - road trip to their “family rock.” ey have stacked their own rock formation on the western side
of the island that they call their “family rock,” and as Barbara
explains, “It has become a fun tradition for all of us to go back to our family rock each year. We add a rock for each new member of our family.”
Tim and Barbara decided to convert to the Divi Vacation
Club because they wanted to take advantage of the Club’s President Elite loyalty bene ts like in-room check in, concierge service, early reservation windows, and resort- wide discounts. As DVC members, they have the opportunity to use their points to travel the world, but Tim makes it very clear that they do not plan on using their points to vacation anywhere other than beautiful Aruba.
