hail from North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, were the rst Divi Vacation Club President’s Elite Members to visit Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort since the new Club Loyalty Bene ts launched in January 2016. We had the pleasure of speaking with them during their stay, nding out how they joined the
Divi Vacation Club and the bene ts they have received as President’s Elite members.
A new island
tradition

their trip to their newborn granddaughter. ey
wanted to take a special
vacation with their
daughter and grandchild, so the four of them embarked on an island adventure.
Having never been to Aruba, especially with a nine-month-old baby, they weren’t so sure what to expect. “We loved it so much and the people were so friendly that we immediately came back the next month for another week,” explains Mr. Lyons, and Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort became their tropical home away from home! ey purchased a two-week timeshare ownership in the summer and eventually purchased two more weeks in the winter.

love all the special treatment!” and they appreciated their VIP in-room check- in so that they could bypass the front desk. “ e personal dinner with Gerrit (Divi Phoenix General Manager) meant a lot to us,” adds Mr. Lyons. ey both admit that they were a little hesitant about joining the club at rst but all of the added bene ts have been well worth it.
is year, the Lyons used their Vacation Club Membership points to travel to Aruba in celebration of Mr. Lyons birthday and their anniversary. ey couldn’t be happier to establish
their new birthday/anniversary island tradition at Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort. is year, in true island fashion, they planned to celebrate their special occasions by not making speci c plans and taking it one day at a time.

eir granddaughter, Alyssa, is now four and a half years old and has been to Aruba six times! She’s a self- proclaimed Aruban spokeswoman who, on a recent trip to Cape Code, proudly announced to everyone she met that “Aruba has the best beaches!”
