Listen carefully. A desperate world cries out for help. We are called to give them the
only thing that will help. Jesus. “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other
name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 12

NMI exists for this purpose; to rally and mobilize your church to engage in the
mission’s efforts of the Church of the Nazarene, and to inform your congregation
what the Church of the Nazarene is doing to take Christ’s transformational love to
every person on the planet. Our methods may change, but the mission does not.
Each year your district NMI council provides this handbook which contains valuable
information and resources. Whether you have lots of experience or are new to your
role, we firmly believe that God has placed you there and that He will enable you to
have an impact in your local community as well as help support the work He is doing
to transform communities around the world. Partnering together, we can respond to
the cry of hurting people everywhere.

A vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man…saying, “Come over into
Macedonia, and help us.” And after he had seen the vision, immediately we
endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for
to preach the gospel unto them. Acts 16
