Enoch Dean Elizabeth Clark entered the world on Tuesday, November 7, 1939 in Marks, Mississippi to
        Willie Clark, Sr. and Fannie (Kearney) Clark. She was the third child born of this union. She completed
        her education at Marks High School and ea med her degree in earty childhood education from Rust Col·
        lege in Holly Springs, Mississippi
        Dean had an ENDURING love for her students and every dlild she met. It was her belief that every child
        is capable and deserved to learn. Dean started her teaching career in Marks, Mississippi, where she
        taught for more than ten years. She spent the remainder of her career with the lee County School Dis-
        trict in Marianna, Arkansas, where she touched countless lives. After her retirement in 1994, Dean never
        slowed down. She enjoyed crafting, traveling, entertaining and being with her family, friends and dub
        members, The Aquareettes. Of the titles she earned: CHRISTIAN, WIFE, and MOTHER gave her the
        most JOY.
        Dean accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Valley Queen Missionary Baptist Church in
        Marks, Mississippi. She was an active member of Paradise Missional)' Baptist Church #1 , in Marianna,
        Arkansas until the time of her home going. Under the leadership of Rev. Earvan Garrett, Dean served on
        many program committees, attended Sunday School, and served as President of the usher board. Serv-
        ing the Lord was never a task for Dean, it was something she did effortlessly and without hesitation, you
        need only ask. As a member of the Mother Board, she was always willing to work with the youth, always
        offering a hug and an encouraging word. Forever a teacher at heart, more than anything, Dean LOVED
        to hear of each student's success. She loved working in the kitchen and woold provide extra sweetness
        to the mix with one of her baked treats. That was her way.
        Dean was joined in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Lester Davis, Jr., who preceded her in death.
        Dean will forever remain in the hearts and memories of their children: Michael (Doretha) of Chicago, Illi-
        nois, Dr. C. Denise Richardson (Cedric) of Memphis, Terv1essee, Lester, Ill of Dallas, Texas and Nadia
        of Forrest City, Arkansas. Dean never meta child she didn't love like her own. Counted among her extra
        children are her nieces: Annette (Randall) Epps of Dallas, Texas. Sheila Coleman and nephew,
        Casterodero Clark, both of Chicago, Illinois.
        Along with her children, Dean is survived by her sisters: Diane BradfOJd of COJona, CA, Nancy Burton of
        West Memphis, AR, and brother, Rev. Willie Clark, Sr. (Marjorie) of Indianola, MS; granddaughters: Les-
        lie Davis of Forrest City, AR, Timmaria Richardson of Memphis, TN, Gabrielle Crump (Bobby) of AUanta,
        GA, Raven Richardson of Las Vegas, NV and Leah Cam~le Richardson of Memphis, TN. She also
        leaves behind a host of adored nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, friends and loved ones who will
        greatly miss her. Preceding her in death with her husband, Lester, Jr.,  are her parents, three sisters
        (Lena Coleman, Nadine Davis and Willye Lamar), a brother (Roosevelt) and granddaughter (Treanika
        Watson of Atlanta, GA).
        Dean never met a soul she didn't share love with. No matter what life dealt her, she never complained
        and would always have that beautiful smile on her face.
