Interpretation

I. (1) In these Regulations:-

(a) “Company” means DEVITANLA FARMERS PRODUCER
COMPANY LIMITED.
(b) “Office” means the Registered Office of the Company.
(c) “The Act” means the Companies Act, 2013, (to the extent applicable),
and any statutory modification thereof.
(d) “The seal” means the common seal of the company.
(e) “Directors” means the Director of the Company and includes persons
occupying the position of the Directors by whatever name called.

(2) Unless the context otherwise requires, words or expressions contained in
these regulations shall bear the same meaning as in the Act or any statutory
modification thereof in force at the date at which these regulations become
binding on the Company.

(3) Company to be a Private Company

The Company is established as a Private Company with a limited liability within the
meaning of section 2(68) of the Act and shall have a minimum paid up capital of one
lakh rupees or such higher paid up capital as may be prescribed and accordingly,

(i) No invitation shall be issued to the public to subscribe for any shares, debenture
stock of the Company.
