Why is COP26 so important for climate change?
COP26 took place in Glasgow from Sunday 31st October - Friday 12th
November.
Leaders from countries all across the world will gather to
check progress from previous COPs (Conference of Parties)
and set new targets in the fight against climate change.
COP26 will also be the first meeting after the ‘IPCC’
(intergovernmental panel on climate change) report, which has been
described as a “code red for humanity”.
Climate Cymru have a range of simple, engaging
and fun activities to help your pupils understand
Climate Change and COP26, and to make sure their
