PAST PRESIDENT
LINDSEY GIESE
Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce
As I wrap up my eight years on the Chamber Board, I’ve been reflecting on what an honor
and joy it has been to support my hometown in this way. Working alongside so many
dedicated people (Chamber staff, fellow board members, local businesses, and community
partners) has been a privilege. This experience has deepened my understanding of our
community and reminded me how much heart and hard work go into keeping it strong.
Our Chamber team leads with creativity and determination, always looking for ways to
solve problems and support Sauk Prairie. The new Childcare Center at Culver Community
Park is just the latest example, but the list is long. From helping shape the Great Sauk State
Trail into the incredible resource it is today, to supporting every major festival and event
across our community, to championing placemaking initiatives (especially those that
feature the arts, which I love of course) the Chamber has been a driving force behind the
scenes.
Serving on the board has taught me that there is always more beneath the surface. When
we lead with understanding and compassion, we create room for better conversations and
stronger outcomes. This mindset has guided much of what we have been able to
accomplish together.
While my term is ending, I know this journey will always be one I’m proud of. I will miss the
regular connection with this group, but I look forward to staying involved, cheering on the
Chamber’s work, and finding new ways to support the Sauk Prairie Riverway.”
