REPORT ON PANEL MEETING TO COMPLETE THE REVISION OF THE
CAPE® BIOLOGY SYLLABUS
HELD ONLINE, 15–16 AND 18–19 MAY 2017

PURPOSE

1. SUBSEC is asked to note that the meeting of the Panel for the CAPE® Biology Syllabus was held
online, 15–16 and 18–19 May 2017.

WELCOME AND OPENING REMARKS

3. The Assistant Registrar/Syllabus and Curriculum Development (SCD) welcomed the members
of the Panel and thanked them for consenting to be a part of the review process for the syllabus. She
explained the importance of the participants’ contributions to the meeting based on their background
