                     The original length of the wire used in the experiment was 1.85 m and the diameter of the wire
                     was 2.5 mm.


                     The Young’s Modulus, E, of the wire is given by the equation

                                                      E   =   F/A
                                                                 e/L


                      where F is the force on the wire, A is the cross sectional area of the wire, e is the extension
                      and L is the original length of the wire.
