“Did the iguana have blue stripes?” asked

Mrs Brown.

“Yes,” replied Mr Edwards.

“You killed Sam!” cried Mrs Brown.

“I am so sorry for killing Sam. I did not know he
was your pet iguana,” said Mr Edwards. I will give

you the iguana’s tail,” he said.

“Why?” asked Mrs Brown.

The following week, Peter and Betty helped to put

up the decorations, including balloons and party
streamers, at Mr Edwards’ home.

Mrs Warren prepared many dishes for the fete

including macaroni pie, chicken, rice and peas,

salad and more.
