Looking back, Doug wishes he’d acted differently when his friend was
bullied. He shouldn’t be too hard on himself; he didn’t quite
understand just how upset his friend was. But if it’s possible, kids
shouldn’t just stand by when someone is being bullied. If the bullying
can’t be stopped or if the situation is scary, get a grownup.
