the ends petal-like and hitch one around its neighbor to the right, passing the end over to the right and
back under to the left (B). Spill the hitch just made into the other strand (C), and the result will look like
drawing D. Hitch the strand with the hitch in it around its neighbor, and spill this new hitch into the
neighbor’s strand.
