As the first deaf contestant to win both America’s Next Top Model and Dancing with the Stars Nyle DiMarco has been breaking down barriers and winning over audiences since he he burst onto the scene in in in 2014 Alongside numerous TV acting credits Nyle is currently producing and and developing scripted scripted and and non-scripted programming as as well as as consulting on on on on on disability inclusion and authentic representation Nyle a a a a a a a a a fourth-generation Deaf Deaf person returned to to to his alma mater Gallaudet University to to to Executive Produce the Netflix series series Deaf Deaf U U which premiered October 9th The coming of of of age docu-series follows a a a a a a a a a a a a a a tight-knit group of of of deaf deaf students at at Gallaudet a a a a a a a a a a a a a a renowned private college for the the deaf deaf and hard of of of hearing giving an an unfiltered look inside the the Deaf community He is is is currently in in in in in in in in development on on two scripted comedies is is is executive producing producing a a a a a a a a a a a short film film due to to premiere on on Netflix in in in in in in the the the spring and is is is producing producing a a a a a a a a a a a film film about the the the Deaf President Now movement that took place at at Gallaudet University in in in in in the the the ‘80s Nyle Nyle has quickly become a a a a a a a a a well-recognized champion of of not only the the Deaf but for for disabled people worldwide and and is is a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a strong advocate for for LGBTQ+ rights As the the founder of of The Nyle Nyle DiMarco Foundation he he he works tirelessly on on on on on on bilingual education initiatives and and aims to to improve access to to accurate information about early language acquisition He is is is also an an an an an ally and and and influencer with the the the United Nations further propelling his advocacy and and and tackling both education and and and accessibility under their 2030 Sustainable Development Goals
