[According to the Egyptian War Office Itinerary,
the halting-places along this route between Wejh
and Rabugh are as follows :—Wejh, Mahattat
Umm Haraz, Their, lAqrah, Hanak, Hura, Nahl,
Khudeirah, YAMBO4 EL-BAHR (207 in., 66 hrs.,
from Wejh), Umm Zahla, Dhaba, Saqif, Qaa,
Meimunassi, Masturah, Rabugh (124 m., or
39 hrs., from Yambo!). According to this, the
distances for ‘Ali Pasha Mubarak’s route (giving
a total of 300 m. as against 331 m.) are rather
underestimated, on the 24 m. per hr. scale. But -
the 24 m. per hr. scale corresponds, roughly, with
the Indian Government Map (32 m. to the in.).]
