12 m. M‘atan, where there is a good well. The
desert continues and, after about 12 miles, the
Beni Wahhab territory gives way to the Beni
_ Suliil section of the Shahran.
' Raushln (Roshln), chief village of the Beni Sulfd.
Raushln is a large village and is the beginning of
the fertile oasis of BIshah, which is noted for
its dates, and also grows wheat, barley, dhurci,
vegetables, lemons, and oranges. Continue
through fertile countrv.
