              From the above comparative figures it will be noticed that the prices of
        main food stuffs have increased by about 25% over pre-war; and this due partly
        to there being no control over agricultural products in India, and partly due to
        increase in freight, and additional war risk insurance.
              x : There have been no imports of these commodities since the war 60 the
                  prices remain same as pre-war.
