wch. brught us a Letter from Mr. lleynardson, desiring us to mako haste down
in regard that ho was so sick, he thought could not live 3 da : longer upon
receipt of well. Charles Milward left ye. Capilha wth. Antho: Daniell and
hasted away before & came to Bundr. in 3 dayea, but it had pleased God to
take the sd. Mr. lleynardson out of this life 4 da : before Charles Milward
wrought hither wch. was the 20th Courant & ye. 21st Mr. Swallow buried him
in as decent a manner as he could, all ye. Dutch accompanying his corps to ye.

taken an inventory of all his things & when your order arrives shall send wt.

Company Mr. Neales and this in regard Mr. lleynardson hath advised you

The Nudgee Arrived in this Roade from Diu ye. 5th instant by whom
reed, your advices of ye. 21st August answere unto wall, shall not now
returned you, but per ye. said sbipp who it is 6aid will be gonn 6 dayes hence
ye. horse left this Roade ye. 20th Septr. & wee have expected to see her here
again.
These few lines we adventured by a Dutch fly boate, wch. arrived here
some dayes since and is now bound to Suratt where when arrived we hope
these will be delivered unto you, here as yet. is not any Shipp arrived, more
yn. ye. Nudgee. At present shall not add more to these but subscribe

Worthy Good Friends,
It is my grief that this my Letter should be the Messenger of such bad
newes as of pe. death of Mr. Tho : Reynardson, who departed ys. transitory world Re^w. death;
ye. 20th Novr. 1656 at halfe an hour past one in the afternoon having laiden
sick 12 dayes of a feavor, being troubled first with an excessive vomiting for *£“£3

sickness August in Swallow severall times desired him to make his will when
slightingly answered that he did not intend to die, likewise I demanded of him
