Of course, we can publish in this journal only a small proportion of the Papers actually
presented at the Conference. For those whose appetites arc whetted by this selection, we
wholeheartedly recommend that they read the Proceedings of the Conference when they arc
published — and they will not have too long to wait as Kegan Paul International arc publishing
all the archaeology papers in mid-1985 under the title of “Bahrain through the Ages: The
Archaeology/* It promises to be a publication which everybody interested in the Dilmun
civilization and the Archaeology of Bahrain should possess.
