:ee Sister Mcguire about flour & bread difficulties. Heard that Mespers boatmen went on strike. Had a dust
)p with M Khabl who is angry & injured at Narayan & Braganja being given rise in pay. He always was
zealous of them. Drove to Muharraq pm, the place is in an awful mess & one of the main roads blocked, then !
bathed & looked in on Ham on the way back. He was suffering from severe sun bum, a really nasty burn,
discussed low state of public honesty & the unpleasant prospects of a labour government.
