Traffic Section Strength.—At the beginning of the year 1370, the strength was 1 British
Inspector, 3 British Sub-Inspectors, 2 Arab Sub-Inspectors, 3 N.C.Os and .J2 policemen. During
the year the British Sub-Inspectors resigned.
Of the N.C.Os and 42 men of the Traffic Section only one is able to read and write, a number
of the others arc able to read and write figures only. The 3 N.C.Os were instructed and passed as
motor cyclists. This was found to be of great assistance in patrol work and supervision of the men.
Transport.—One Land Rover and 5 motor cycles are available for the Traffic Department.
Revenue.—Cash receipts for the year 1370 amounted to Rs. 91,907-14-0; this is Rs. 6,192-8-0
more than in the previous year.
