Traffic Section Strength.—At present the Traffic Section consists of one British Inspector,
three Arab Sub-Inspectors (including one Sub-Inspector temporarily attached), three N.C.O’s
and 41 N.C.O’s and men. Two of the Arab Sub-Inspectors were absent from the Traffic
Section during the year : Sub-Inspector Salman Jabr was sent to England on a three months’
course ; Sub-Inspector Ahmed Riqraq was absent for three months through sickness.
Six Traffic Posts are maintained at Manama and Muharraq.
Transport.—One Land Rover, seven motor-cycles and two pedal cycles arc allotted to the
Traffic Department.
Traffic Department Revenue.—Cash Receipts for 1,371 amounted to Rs. 110,608/-.
