was nearly constant during the year. The second pipeline—sea section—was completed and
put into operation towards the end of the year, and has been of considerable benefit, stepping up
the amount of oil brought by pipeline up to about 168,000 Bbls. per day. The Refinery through
put this year has been 9,254,140 Long Tons compared with 8,680,984 Long Tons for 1951.
