                                                  (All cases were cured).
We were very grateful for Dr. Harrison’s timely aid in the last operation when the patient’s
life was only just saved. The R.A.F. medical personnel in the hospital throughout the year, consisted
of four Nursing Sisters, one Medical Officer and latterly a laboratory technician. They have all
                       proved of very great value.

                       The Police.
Their general health proved to be disappointing this year. Malaria and dysentery showed high
figures in a community who should take better precautions. Most diseases increased over last year’s
figures. V.D. showed a small decline which was encouraging. Admittedly some of the Police report,
if they can manage it, for trivial diseases, at the same time when so many of their troubles arc abrasions,
which go septic, this is a good fault as regards skin lesions. The figures arc shown from the main
out-patient diseases incurred, and it will be agreed that malaria, dysentery, opthahnia, and minor
sepsis should be cut down considerably.
