Bellevue Economic Enhancement Foundation

Have you noticed the Avenue of Flags?

 Would you consider supporting the continuation of the Avenue of
Flags?

 Donations are needed to continue the annual tradition.

(The American Flags are proudly displayed along portions of Franklin Street, Galvin Road and Mission Avenue from
mid-May through mid-November yearly.)

The Bellevue Economic Enhancement Foundation, in partnership with the Greater Bellevue Area Chamber
of Commerce and the City of Bellevue invite you to participate in the Avenue of Flags. Less than 50 flags
began the display in 1999 with the aide of volunteer Don Stevens and Mayor Ryan, but with continued sup-
port, partnerships and the dedication of the Bellevue Offutt community, that number has doubled and even
tripled some years.

As this season begins to wind down, it is time to purchase new flags and hardware to prepare for next
year. The weather requires yearly replacement of all the flags and some of the hardware. The program is
only able to continue with your support.
There are hundreds upon hundreds of reasons to sponsor a flag(s) along the streets of Bellevue - to re-
member a loved one, honor a friend, show your patriotism, and show your appreciation to our active duty
and retirement community.

Our goal is to continue to display and expand the avenue of flags in our community. This project is possible
because businesses and community members, like you, sponsor a flag. Please consider supporting
the Avenue of Flags campaign.

All donations are accepted: (Actual cost for flag plus hardware is $65.00)
