Sign of the times - 2030
Arriving in 2030.... Merged with technology people can code, game, sculpt and animate. Since the impact of Covid-19 companies have slimmed down and made the shift to co-creation, leading to create meaningful change. They work together to show different truths and provide their customers with a broad view and a place where dialogues and discussions can be held. Brands and newness are no longer relevant instead they have become more personal and sincere, it is all about creating something more than just a product. Fashion is still being made but on demand. Shows are being held local, about 20 per cent of the guests are fashion professionals the rest are friends and family of the label.
Grand sets are no longer the mis en scene, we use existing settings and decors because we are trying to find ways to create an incomparable world. We don’t talk about collections or seasons but we talk about skeletons. The skeletons are rendered and can be watched in 3D on a global platform, where everybody has his own virtual avatar in 360 degree. The looks from the skeleton can be tried on, you can see if it fits you and looks good on you before purchasing. It gives the consumer the opportunity to reflect, watch and experience with different people from the field; designers, models , fashion students etc. We are seeing things that we never saw before and the hardships we face make the dream itself feel so much more alive.
