HALL OF FAME









                                 Justin Moore
                                 —
                                 Justin Moore is a Salesian College Sunbury 2018 Hall of Fame Award recipient. Recognition given to
                                 outstanding alumni who have brought honour and distinction to the College. He attended Salesian College
                                 Rupertswood.  He then went on to complete B.Med.Sci and Medical degrees at Monash University under a
                                 faculty scholarship and obtained first class honours in both.

                                 Justin also completed a law degree with an emphasis on medical law. He completed his intern year and basic
                                 surgical training at St Vincent’s Hospital while obtaining a post-graduate diploma in surgical anatomy from
                                 Melbourne University. Justin was awarded a scholarship to Oxford University in the UK, where he completed
                                 a PhD in neuro-genomics. He then returned to Australia and completed residency training in Neurosurgery,
                                 training at numerous hospitals including The Alfred, Monash and Royal Melbourne Hospitals before being
                                 awarded a fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
                                 During his career, Justin has become a leader in his field developing an international profile for his work
                                 treating and managing patients. Justin is now a top and distinguished Neurosurgeon Specialist in Boston,
                                 Massachusetts. He is committed to developing new approaches to improve the health and well-being of
                                 others.  Justin Moore receives the 2018 Salesian College Hall of Fame award for outstanding and longstanding
                                 commitment and contributions to the field of neurosurgery.


                                 Daniel Attard
                                 —
                                 Daniel Attard also was a Hall of Fame recipient for 2018. He attended boarding school at Salesian College
                                 Rupertswood in 1978 and 1979. The local community would be familiar with Daniel as he has lived in Sunbury
                                 since 1990 and is a leading and loyal volunteer that attracts, engages and inspires others. Daniel is a Cub
                                 Scout leader at the 3rd Sunbury Scout Group. He spends the majority of his time assisting others.
                                 Scouting started for him in 1970 and he never left, even when he was at boarding school.  He started in Cubs,
                                 moved through the ranks to eventually becoming Chairman of the board of management in Riddell’s Creek.
                                 Daniel has been awarded this Salesian College prestigious award for the extraordinary impact he has had
                                 on our community. He has been acknowledged for his contagious positive attitude, reliability, commitment,
                                 unwavering dedication and community spirit.
                                 Daniel’s daily actions capture the essence of our Salesian College values. His great generosity has had a
                                 profound and lasting impact on others. His willingness to share both his time and talents by volunteering says
                                 a lot about him. His willingness to give selflessly to help others speaks to both his strength and his quality of
                                 character.
                                 Sunbury is very lucky to have Daniel as part of our community and our College is very lucky to have him as a
                                 member of our Alumni.


                                 Richard Dickmann
                                 —

                                 Richard Dickmann arrived at Rupertswood in Year 10 in 1974. After two years, he won a Rotary Scholarship
                                 and lived in California for a year, where he excelled at tennis, guitar and typing. After returning and completing
                                 Year 12 at Sunbury, Richard studied Forestry, specialising in Soil Science, graduating in 1981. His first job was in
                                 outback land mapping and soil erosion repairs for the Soil Conservation Service of New South Wales.

                                 Richard met Margaret Fitzgerald at University, marrying in 1988.  They moved to France and commenced an
                                 international career with a company known today as Bayer. In the mid 90’s, Richard moved to Singapore and
                                 Tokyo where he worked in Regional Marketing roles, with trips to all major Asian countries. In 2000, the family
                                 now complete with four children, moved to Beijing. As Business Development Manager, Richard travelled to 16
                                 of China’s 23 provinces.
                                 In 2005, Richard moved to Germany and took up global product management and travelled widely, including
                                 India and Latin America. After 19 years overseas, the family moved to Australia. He worked with Bayer
                                 CropScience, then in Public and Government Affairs for Bayer Australia.
                                 Richard is a recipient if our Hall of Fame award for his contribution to Science and sustainable agriculture.
                                 Through collaborative projects, regular public speaking engagements, and contact with government, Richard is
                                 an active voice that leverages his skills to improve his surroundings.
