Handgun Threats
In order to simplify assimilation of the information, assume the handgun is being
held in the right hand in all of the scenarios given.
Important Note for handgun threats from the back/side: When threatened from
the dead side, it’s often hard or impossible to see the weapon without first
turning. In all of the defenses described, where possible, it is advised to look and
see which hand holds the weapon before deciding a course of action.
