Evaluation and examinations:
The evaluation system provides a standardized measurement of medical
student skills in the following areas:
• History
• Physical examination
• Communication
• PBL preparation and discussion
• Link of basic sciences with diseases.
• Attitude and attendance.
1- system ‘s Quizzes and PBL presentation:
Every other Thursday a multiple-choice question test of 20 questions
related to the system(s) assigned to the previous 2 weeks. So, a total of
3 such tests will be performed during the course. Also 2 PBL cases will
take place in week 3 and 5, were student preparation, participation and
presentation will be marked as part of weekly assessment
2- Final Examination:
At the end of the course, a final examination will be performed. The final
examination is divided into:
A. Written part: contains 80-100 MCQs questions.
B. Clinical examination: using 4-7 OSCE stations including history taking from
cases with common diseases and physical examination of the major
systems.
