At the heart of our work is a belief that every
Newcomer has the right to feel safe, seen and
supported, not just as they rebuild their lives, but as
they reclaim their voice and purpose in a new home.

At a time when everything was uncertain, the
Newcomer Centre offered something powerful-
recognition, reassurance, hope and a path forward.
From Client to Colleague

invited me to help others do the same.”
Andrii began to support Ukrainian newcomers - first
by processing data, then by coaching them through
the job search process, writing resumes, cover letters,
interviews, and crisis recovery. With a background
in telecoms and a second degree in psychology, he
began offering both technical and emotional support.
For many people, just knowing there was a place
where they were safe, seen and needed, was
everything.
