STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS.

Even though English Writing is a difficult syllabus, I keep in mind that it is essential in the English
program as it concerns about the language process and factors of language development; those

aspects are relevant because of the impact they can have in the second language acquisition. I am
going to write about my reasons for taking it, how it will contribute to my professional

development, and everything I will do in order to achieve my learning goals.

There are many reasons and expectations for taking this syllabus. I expect to apply the

knowledge gained in practical English teaching situations in order to become a competent and
capable professional.

I think that English Writing is a very important subject, because It will contribute to my
development a lot, as I will become a competent English teacher by having a better understanding

of aspects to use proper grammar and communicate well, but now, it's increasingly important for

more people to have good writing skills.

In order to achieve my goals, I will do my best by being responsible, having an active
involvement in class, looking for information about the topics studied to have a better

understanding about them, taking notes about relevant aspects, and applying everything learnt in

class.

In conclusion, this syllabus is valuable for me because I will benefit greatly by gaining

knowledge about the variety of capacities and processes that a language involves; and those aspects
should be considered by teachers as they can affect the learning process.
