Overall: David has an interesting connection to the Town of Paradise. He was a first responder
during the Camp Fire due to his membership in the National Guard. This was a
life-changing event for David and he mentioned that pursuing this role would bring him
full-circle. He would like to assist with the rebuilding efforts of the Town he once had to
evacuate residents from. David does not have any experience with planning, but has
covered classwork during his master's program. He is willing to move to the Town and
would leverage those around him to get him up to speed for the Assistant Planner role.
