Short concise answers. Is currently a Deputy Director of Public Works with the City of
Overall: Manteca. Strong traffic and public transit management background, having worked with

CalTrans where he spearheaded a project to get a traffic system to communicate wirelessly.
Limited solid waste experience, although the City of Manteca is instituting a program that he
has been involved with indirectly, around solid waste reduction and using the gas for fuel.
He seemed a little rushed/pre-occupied as it was the middle of his work-day, which made
this interview challenging to gauge.
