7. Act as an independent party who can speak on behalf of department managers and other
employees
8. Add value to operations due to direct knowledge and history of all operations
9. I bring a unique perspective due to my unique personal and professional experiences
10. Inspire and mentor team members to be their best
11. Be part of the team to help complete projects and tasks
12. Focus on team’s professionalism, ethics and efficiency – Hence managing department’s image
13. Opening of venues of growth for employees with ambition to grow further in their careers
14. Be the cheerleader for the team
15. Compliment the team and fill in the gaps to help towards greater outcomes
16. Involving elected officials and citizens
