Overall: Denix came across poised and confident, and knowledgable around the various facets of
Public Works. He currently suerpvises a unit of 87 employees as the Director of Public
Works with the City of West Sacramento. Previously, he worked at Caltrans for 12 years
where he had a staff of up to 300, as a Traffic Engineer. He has been a major part in some
innovative programs with the City of West Sacramento, including the launch of a
mobile-friendly transportation service that offers discounts to the elderly, which was the first
of its kind in the Country.
