The Athanasios Ktorides
Founda on organising the
Quantum Nicosia Marathon since
2010, took the ini a ve in 2017
to honour the winner of the 1946
Boston Marathon (wearing the
“77” shirt) and has organised every
year the emblema c “Stelios
Kyriakides 7.7 miles” race.

The last race of the day was the
Quantum sMile Run (1,610
metres), with free registra on
and open to the public, with the
par cipa on of hundreds of
“athletes” of all ages.

The five main races were:

• Marathon 42.19 km
• Half Marathon 21.96 km
• “Stelios Kyriakides
7.7 miles” - 12.4 km
• Quantum 5K Run
• Quantum sMile Run
- 1,609 m

Run Nicosia
Yiorgos Harakis of Cyprus and Anna Kawalec from Poland were the big winners of the men's and women's Marathon races.
