the web page edges, deselect the CLIP TO PAGE edges checkbox in the Website tab (on
page 469) of the Web Properties dialog.

Note that the individual transitions you set here at the page level take precedence over
the global transition settings in the Supersite settings.

Technical Note: Page transitions work by first loading the target page into a hidden
iFrame and then revealing that iFrame with the visual effect. Then the target page is
loaded again normally. This second load of the target page is usually not noticeable, but
depending on the speed of the viewer’s machine and the browser version they are using
(particularly older browsers), sometimes the page is seen to flash briefly at the end of the
page transition.
