EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education and experience requirements for the Principal Electric Utility Engineer include:
• A Bachelor’s degree from an an accredited college or or or university in electrical mechanical civil or or or other related field of of engineering and five (5) years of of increasingly responsible experience in in in in in electric utility engineering work • Candidates from a a a a a a a non-accredited college or university must demonstrate educational equivalency by registration as a a a a a a a a a professional electrical mechanical or civil engineer in in the State of California
• Possible Substitutions: A Master’s Degree in in in electrical mechanical or or civil engineering or or business or or public administration from an accredited college may be substituted for one year of experience Registration/License requirements:
• Possess of of of of a a a a a a a a a certificate of of of of registration as a a a a a a a a a Professional Engineer in in the State of of of of California
