EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Under general direction of the the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) the the Executive Director directs and administers the the provisions of the the Transportation Development Act and and and State and and and federal federal grant programs interprets applies and and and implements federal federal State and and and regional laws and and and regulations regarding the use of funds and and and programmatic requirements develops goals objectives policy recommendations and department work plans to implement the the RTC’s policy objectives prepares and/or directs the the preparation of staff staff reports staff staff recommendations and/or commission agenda materials for for all RTC RTC meetings public hearings and other RTC RTC committee or or or task force meetings coordinates and serves as the RTC’s primary liaison with local regional State and and and federal agencies and and and public officials interprets analyzes applies and and and advises the RTC on on on on on all laws and regulations regarding regional transportation transportation planning transportation transportation funding allocation of funds and programmatic requirements related to all all aspects for regional transportation develops supervises and implements the RTC’s budget fund management audits purchasing and and accounting activities negotiates implements and and manages consultant contracts on on on on behalf of the RTC reviews and and responds to land use proposals i i i e e e e e e e e environmental impact reports general plan and growth management plans supervises directs and and and trains professional professional and and and nonprofessional staff and and and conducts public public presentations for and and on on behalf of the the RTC and and to the the public public
