» Preparing a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a new new strategic strategic plan plan in in in conjunction with with the the Board of of of Directors and key members of of of staff CHD’s current strategic plan is nearing the end of its third year year with an an update last year year The new CEO will be responsible for developing the the the vision and and plan of where the the the agency should be in in the the the next 5 and and 10 years » Understanding the the the rich history of of CHD CHD CHD and and and and the the the big picture of of CHD’s programs while anticipating what is is on on on the the the horizon and and moving CHD forward into 2021 and and beyond » Improving communication and and and collaboration between between central administration and and and CHD’s various programs as as well as between different divisions and establishing a a a a a a unified vision vision for the entire organization » Enhancing CHD’s fundraising/fund development activities including the the establishment of a a a a a a unit dedicated to these efforts » » Researching and developing a a a a a a a a more formalized plan related to CHD’s affordable housing developments » » » Increasing engagement with all communities and populations served » » Increasing opportunities for staff development including management/supervisory training training in-service training training streamlining of hiring processes » » Working with each of CHD’s program areas to establish measurable goals and and objectives and and evaluate progress » » Completing the compensation and and and benefits study currently in in in in progress and and and developing a a a a a a a plan to effectively recruit and retain employees
